Donald SouderA memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. March 24 at Allison Park Christian Church in Eugene for Donald Souder of Eugene, who died March 15 of age-related causes. He was 87.He was born Feb. 9, 1925, in Beatrice, Neb., to Howard and Mable Hurst Souder. He married Lois Stoneberg on Aug. 29, 1947, in Eugene.He graduated from Beatrice High School in Nebraska, in 1942. He served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater, serving as a radarman second class. He owned 4-S Builders in Eugene for 25 years, building custom homes, and worked as an apprenticeship field representative with the state Bureau of Labor for 18 years.Survivors include his wife; three sons, Steve of Roseburg, Greg of Eugene and Scott of Burlingame, Calif.; two daughters, Colleen Cokenour of Powell Butte and Jerri Hughes of Albany; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at the IOOF Cemetery in Coburg. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Allison Park Christian Church.
