Sally Penrod of Brownsville died Oct. 11 of age-related causes. She was 87. No service is planned.She was born Sept. 21, 1924, in Broadbent, Ore., to Hobart and Nettie Lewis Smith. She married Cal Penrod in 1944 in Stockton, Calif. He died in November 1995.She was a homemaker.Survivors include a son, C. Mark of Brownsville; a brother, Hobart Smith of Yuba City, Calif.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Private burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
