Donald HueyThe funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 15, at Lighthouse Temple in Eugene for Donald Frank Huey of Eugene, who died April 10 of age-related causes. He was 87.He was born Feb. 3, 1924, in Monmouth, Ill., to Boyd and Margaret Simmons Huey. He and his wife, Ruth, were married Aug. 7, 1946, in Eugene.He served in the Navy during World War II. He worked as a carpenter.Survivors include his wife; three sons, Mike of Fremont, Calif., Paul of Eugene and Charlie of Shoreline, Wash.; a brother, John of Eugene; a sister, Nora Huey of DeSmit, S.D.; and three grandchildren.Arrangements are being made by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Remembrances may be sent to New Hope Christian College in Eugene.
