Jeanette A. Stewart
November 12th, 1921 - May 20th, 2013
Jeanette A. Stewart went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2013. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Hugh W. Stewart; daughters Mary Jo (Clark) Margolf, Julie (Bruce) Beach, Jane (Tim) Garigan, Elizabeth (Dennis) Goettl and Cecilia (John) Linsmeier; sons Paul (Amy) Stewart and Andrew (Debra) Stewart; 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Gregory W. Stewart, who gave his life in honorable service to his country in the Vietnam war. Jeanette was a loving and devoted mother who taught her children a strong work ethic, determination and responsibility. Her Catholic faith was reflected in the love and care she expressed to her family and friends. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she loved to travel, living all over the United States and in Paris, France. An accomplished chef (Cordon Blue Diplomat), she also enjoyed Bridge, floral arranging and home décor. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday May 23, 2013 at Saints Peter and Paul Church 1946 E. Lee St at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Gregory Stewart Scholarship Fund at Salpointe Catholic High School, 1545 E. Copper Tucson, AZ 85719
