Paul Sevic

Paul Carl Steven Sevic (Sevc) Born October 8, 1926. He died peacefully and Went to be The Lord on April1 16th, 2013. Born in Helpa, Czechoslavakia, immigrating to the United States with his parents, Paul and Anna Sevic at the age of 3. Their long voyage took them to Ellis Island and the family soon located in Youngstown, Ohio where Paul attended Memorial High School in Cambell , Ohio before eventually enlisting in the Navy prior to his graduation. Serving his Country as a radioman in Hawaii, following the bombing of Pearl Harbor, he was honorably discharged in 1947. Paul met the love of his life, Dolores at a community dance and soon after they married. In their 63 years of marriage, they were blessed with 5 children, Carol (Chuck) Darone, Patricia (Ronald) Mamula, Nancy (Ken) Inskeep, Thomas Sevic, and James Sevic. Paul is additionally survived by their 8 grandchildren, Jacob Edwards, Devon Darone, Bethany Mamula, Brannon Mamula, Danielle Sevic , Julie Sevic , Rosalie and Anna Sevic., and 2 great grandchildren. Paul retired from IBM after 25 Years. He was a watch and clock enthusiast, collecting, restoring and selling over the course of 30 years. His expertise brought him in contact with many of his watch and clock friends and enthusiasts across the United States. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude to Dr.'s Selwyn and Taetle, as well as the entire staff at Peppi's House for their warm and loving care.
