Mila McBride
November 18th, 1955 - October 20th, 2012
Leonila "Mila" Anque McBride was granted her angel wings on October 20th 2012. Her final days were spent with her husband of 20 years in her very memorable life. Mila was born November 18th 1955 in Olongapo City, Philippines to Eusebio Aglipay and Enrica Silva who preceded her in death. She has worked as a baker at Fry's Food Stores since 2000. Her life would seem short to many. But those who knew her, understood that her qualities of love, compassion and devotion to God and her marriage outlasts the amount of time that one lives. Her comforting smile and outpouring of love provided abundant joy to her family and friends. Although she was small, she gave us all such courage and hope. That hope was a constant reminder to us of the preciousness of life. She loved to be with her husband. He was her world and she was his. As long as they were together, it didn't matter where it was or what was being done. Her children, though now geographically separated from her, always filled her heart with joy and happiness. She loved them very much and would often say how proud she was to be their mother. She enjoyed spending time with her pet cockatiels Angel, Sammy, Cookie, & Tweety, movies, music and video games. Mila is survived by her husband Chris; her husband's parents Tom and Carole McBride of 29 Palms, CA; former husband Clayton Finerfrock of Locust Grove, VA and their children, daughter Judy Finerfrock of Charlottesville, VA & son Joseph Finerfrock of Locust Grove, VA; sister & brother-in law Shannon & Randy Vreeken and niece & nephew Lauren and Andrew Vreeken of Vancouver, WA; and 3 sisters and 1 brother in the Philippines and Australia. Visitation 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Bring's Broadway Chapel, 6910 E. Broadway, with Rosary recited at 7:00 PM. Mass will be offered 10:00 AM, Friday, October 26, 2012 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco. Burial to follow in Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery.
