Richard A. Navarro

NAVARRO, Richard A, 77, son of Antonio and Mary Navarro, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012. A native Tucsonan, Richard married his high school sweetheart Nancy from Salpointe Catholic High in 1955. Richard served many years in the public service as a police office, highway patrolman, and fireman, among other professions. Richard is survived by his daughters, Susan and Laura, and son, Keith, as well as, his grandchildren, Michael, Annie, Elizabeth and Cole. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his girlfriend and caretaker Barbara. His family and dear friends will sorely miss Richard for his wisdom, honesty, and sense of humor. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, with rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo. Burial will be at East Lawn Palm Cemetary, 5801 E Grant Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the National Stroke Foundation, American Cancer Society, or Lupus Foundation of Southern Arizona.
