James William Hill
July 8th, 1928 - April 9th, 2012
Hill, James W., born July 8, 1928, went to be with the Lord April 9, 2012. Preceded in death by wife of 50 years (Betty). Survived by daughter, Susan (Mike) Fiorino; son, James (Stephanie); and grandsons, Joseph and Daniel Fiorino. Army veteran of the Korean War. Management professor who received his Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology from Wayne State University. He enjoyed teaching many students at Southern Illinois University (1966-1970). He went on to spend 20 years (1970-1990) at Western Michigan University as a professor and Chairman of the Management Department. In his retirement, he enjoyed bowling, playing bridge and horseback riding in Green Valley, AZ. He and his wife moved to Tucson, AZ (Broadway Proper) where he enjoyed Pinochle, his sing-along group and spending time with friends. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
