Guillermo "Willie" Rivera
October 14th, 1953 - September 13th, 2022
Guillermo (Willie) Rivera 1953-2022 Willie Rivera left this earthly realm,unexpectedly, on September 13, 2022,at the age of 68. Willie was born in El Paso, TX, but grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He was born to Alfonso T. Rivera (Poncho),and Leonor (Dee) Rivera. (both deceased) He leaves behind his wife Debbie, of 48 years, and his only child, Kristin B. Rivera. His brother, Andres A. Rivera, Sr. (Terri), sister-in-law Kathy (Zach), brother-in-law Mark, his mother-in-law, Rosa N., numerous nieces and nephews, and assorted relatives that are too numerous to mention. And, many dear coworkers and friends. Willie joined the US Air Force in 1972, and proudly served for 23+ years. He continued on to work for various aerospace contractors, for 22 years, after his military career, He traveled the world, and loved what he did. Willie's passion was his family, and his photography. You never saw him without a camera, or two, on his shoulders. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. He never had any unkind thoughts about anyone. He was always thinking positively andhe was a great listener. Willie will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at Brings Funeral Home, 6910 E. Broadway, Tucson, AZ on Thursday October 06, 2022; at 10:30 am
