Murle KempMurle D. “Mel” Kemp of Eugene died Feb. 10 of sepsis. He was 72. No service is planned.Kemp was born Oct. 1, 1938, in Van Buren, Ark., to Henry and Maggie Riddle Kemp. He married Audrey La Hue on Feb. 2, 1974 in San Lorenzo, Calif.He was a deputy sheriff in Alameda County, Calif., for 20 years, worked as a fraud investigator for Wells Fargo Bank, and was the executive security for the CEO of Bank of America. In Eugene, he worked for Brasher’s Auto Auction. He was in the Coast Guard in the San Francisco area.Survivors include his wife and a daughter, Sherry Henderson of Lexington, Ky.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the Masonic Home in Union City, Calif.
