Elenor Maxine Hemphill
August 13th, 1934 - January 17th, 2023
Elenor Maxine Hemphill, 88, of Tucson, Arizona passed away January 17, 2023. Maxine was born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma in 1934. She lived in various different states before ending up in McNary, Arizona. It was there that she met her future husband Huey Hemphill. They were married in November of 1952. Eventually they made their permanent home in Tucson, Arizona. Maxine was a devout Christian who attended Tucson Baptist Church for many years. She also enjoyed reading the Bible and spending time with her family especially her grandkids Melanie, Tara, Adam, Mikey and Matthew, and her great grandson Noah. She is preceded in death by her husband, Huey Long Hemphill and her children, Lillian Laneve and William Eric. She is survived by her children Lona (Gary) and Steve (Lee) along with her five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Per Maxine’s wishes, there will be a private visitation at Bring’s followed by internment at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Safford, AZ.
