Nicholas KlonoskiA memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at Temple Beth Israel for Nicholas Joseph Aiken Klonoski of Eugene, who died Dec. 17. He was 29. The family chose not to list the cause of death.Klonoski was born Dec. 9, 1981, in Eugene to James Klonoski and Ann Aiken. He graduated from South Eugene High School in 2000 and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Michigan in 2004. He served in the U.S. Navy ROTC. He worked on statewide and national political campaigns and on public policy issues.Survivors include his mother; four brothers, Jake of Menlo Park, Calif., and Zach, Sam and Chris, all of Eugene; two half-brothers, Tom of Skokie, Ill., and Kevin of Los Angeles; and a half-sister, Katherine Emershad of Scottsdale, Ariz.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to The Bus Project in Portland; the James R. Klonoski Fellowship at the University of Oregon Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics; or the Relief Nursery.
