Donna Mae Keeler

Donna Mae Keeler, 53, of Ahwatukee (Phoenix), entered into eternal peace with the Lord on October 13th, 2011. Donna peacefully passed away following lengthy illness. Her husband of 26 years, Larry, held her hand at the hospital bedside. Daughters Elizabeth (Nick) Cortopassi and Mary Keeler, both of Phoenix, were also present. A beloved Wife and Mother, Donna worked for several years at the Tempe Police Department but later chose to be a stay-at-home mom. She maintained her strength through the Lutheran faith. Donna followed scripture and the Golden Rule throughout her life, and collected angel figurines to display her beliefs of hope and guidance. Respectful of others, she also displayed a fervent patriotism to the United States and the stars-and-stripes flag. Donna was a past member of the American Legion Auxillary in Neshkoro, WI. She also provided support for the American Legion Post 423 in Neshkoro, WI., and the Patriot Guard Riders of both Wisconsin and Arizona. Donna loved attending church, enjoyed seeing the benefits of gardening, making arts and crafts, and writing to friends and relatives. She and her family own her childhood home in Neshkoro, WI, to which she has a strong bond. Donna was pre-deceased by her parents, Walter and Dorothea Polinske of Neshkoro, WI., and her brother Ronald also of Neshkoro. Additionally, she is survived by two aunts of Wisconsin; step-daughter Chris (Rich) Meyer of Spokane, WA., and their children Jayden and Sophia; step-son James (Andrea) Keeler of Sierra Vista, AZ., and their children Jamison and Emilee; and many extended relatives and loving friends. A visitation is scheduled for 6-8pm on Wednesday, October 19th, at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper Ave., Gilbert, AZ. A Phoenix memorial service is scheduled for 10:00am on Thursday, October 20th, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1337 W. 11th St., Tempe, AZ. A Wisconsin funeral service is also scheduled at Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro, WI.; The Wisconsin viewing is scheduled for 5-8pm on Thursday, October 27th, at the Wachholz and Sons funeral home located at 303 W. Harvard Street, Princeton, WI. The funeral services for Donna will take place at 11am on Friday, October 28th, with visitation beginning at 10:00am, at the Zion Lutheran Church located at 227 N. State Street, Neshkoro, WI., with Reverend Franklin Giebel officiating. Donna's burial will follow the church service, at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Neshkoro, WI.
