Our beloved mother, wife, friend and daughter, Karen Carol Lunsford, 63, went home to be with her Lord on October 16, 2012. She was born in Sheridan, Wyoming on September 29, 1949. The family moved to Arizona in January, 1960 with her parents Harold and Dorothy Chapman. She attended Mesa High School and married her high school sweetheart in 1968. Roy and Karen were active in their church and lived for the Lord. We know a new angel will be watching over us. She is survived by her husband, Roy Val Lunsford; mother, Dorothy Euvon Chapman; brother, Mick Chapman; son, Andy (Colette) Lunsford of Mesa; daughters Jewely Hughes of St. Johns, AZ and Valary "Val" (Pat) Patterson of Mesa; and eight grandchildren. A visitation will be Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper Ave. Gilbert, AZ. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 22, 2012 at Gateway Fellowship Church, 60 N. Recker Rd. Gilbert, AZ.
