William John Kirsch

William John Kirsch II, unexpectedly passed away after a brief illness on March 17th. Born in Buffalo, New York on December 11th 1971, William was the beloved son of William and the late Jane Ann Rice Kirsch. A graduate of the University of Miami and Buffalo State College, William was a science and biology teacher in the Mesa Public Schools including Kino, Mesa High and Smith for the past twelve years. He was an avid collector, a comic and anime fan and a trivia buff and role player. William is survived by his uncle and aunt Leroy Lewis and Florence Lewis Rice, stepmother Nancy Kirsch, step siblings J.J. and Heather Fulmines, Jamie and Jeff Cunningham, Julie Fulmines (Chris Kardach) and niece Lily Fulmines. William leaves behind many close friends and colleagues including life long friends from childhood Kent Radder and Jim Moran. In accordance with his wishes, his organs have been donated. A visitation followed by a memorial service will be held at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper Ave., Gilbert, AZ 85233 from 5 to 7 PM. Monday March 24th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in William's name to any animal shelter or local hospice.
