Janet Elizabeth Abbott

Janet Elizabeth Abbott of Apache Junction passed away on August 6, 2009, she was 84 years old. She was born on September 24, 1924 in Iselin, Pennsylvania. Born to Joseph and Catherine Paris in western Pennsylvania, she moved to northeast Ohio with her husband Robert a few years after WWII. Janet was one of six children, Agnes Stewart of Pennsylvania, Anna Shank of Pennsylvania, George Paris of Ohio, and Joseph Paris of New York all preceded her in death, and Donald Paris who lives in Strongsville, Ohio. Janet was also preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Abbott. Janet was a loving wife, mother of three, grandmother of seven, and great-grandmother of six. She is survived by two daughters Joyce A. Loucks and Sherrie A. Martinson both of Gilbert, AZ and one son John J. Abbott of Highland Heights, OH. Janet has seven grandchildren, Grant Loucks of Ohio, Kevin Loucks of Florida, Gary Abbott of Massachusetts, Debbie Gochneaur of Ohio, Eric Martinson of Arizona, Jackie DiAgostino of Ohio and Catie Hydeman of Washington. She also had six great-grandchildren, Harry, Sabrina, Ava, Joss, Danny, and Samantha (who will arrive in November). Funeral services will be held privately and contributions can be made to any charity in lieu of flowers
