Mark Edward Lewis, 67, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away February 8, 2017. Mark was born November 22, 1950 in Portsmouth, OH to James and Alice (Denver) Lewis. He graduated from Wyoming High School and joined the Air Force. He married Kathy McCloud on December 28, 1974 in Baudette, MN. Mark mastered any employment he tackled and ultimately found great happiness as a building inspector for the City of Chandler, where he took early retirement due to his diagnosis of muscular dystrophy. He loved Nascar- both watching and participating early in life - woodworking and golf. His children were a constant source of pride and he especially enjoyed spending time loving and teaching his grandchildren. Mark is survived by his wife, Kathy Lewis, his three children, Kevin Allen Lewis and his wife Shannon of Firestone, CO, Tina Ann Roseboom and Brian Madison of Broomfield, CO, and Christopher Edward Lewis and his wife Whitney of Gilbert, AZ; 11 grandchildren, Joshua, Jordan, Beau, Brooke, Briana, Trevor, Kason, Hailey, Haylee Marie, Danica and Diesel and 1 great grandchild, Marcus Bryant Noble; as well as 6 brothers, 1 sister, several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, February 16th, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 251 W. Juniper Ave., Gilbert, AZ 85233. A celebration of Mark's life will be held at Falconer Funeral Home, Gilbert, Arizona, Saturday, February 17th at 2pm with reception to follow at 3519 East Kesler Ln., Gilbert, AZ 85295.
