Gary Glen Kesselring
January 24th, 1941 - September 2nd, 2010
Gary Kesselring suffered a hemorrhagic stroke & went home to our Lord on September 2, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. Gary Glen Kesselring was born in Iowa City, IA January 24, 1941. He grew up with humble beginnings on a farm until his family moved out west to California where he graduated from Fallbrook Union High School. Gary joined the US Air force, & shortly thereafter married Judith A Rigney Kesselring. He served 8 years in the Air Force. Gary was a proud veteran having served in Viet Nam three times. After the Air force, Gary went to work for NCR to put himself through college & settled in Ramona, Ca. It was there that he & his wife raised their 3 daughters & Gary began his career as a Realtor. Gary was highly respected in the Real Estate Community throughout San Diego as a Broker, Investor & Business owner for over 30+ years. In 1999, Gary married Judy A. Moore Kesselring. Together they worked in Real Estate in San Diego, moving to Arizona in 2006. Gary loved spending time with his family more than anything & loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a private pilot, photographer, trumpet player, dancer, avid reader, health conscious, & enjoyed travel. He was an active person who enjoyed people, was passionate about flying, and was a long-time member in the San Diego Board of Realtors Association. He was a leader in the community having served in many capacities including the honor of 32nd degree Master in the Masonic Lodge in Ramona. Everything he did was with diligent effort & compassion, which reflected his love for all, especially his family. He will be remembered for his kind & gentle spirit & his love for knowledge & wisdom.Gary will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend and professional leader. His involvement in the lives he touched will be greatly missed. He leaves behind his wife, Judy A Kesselring of Maricopa, AZ; three daughters, Mikaela (Paul) Baird of Sutherlin, OR, Brocclyn (Judi) Kesselring-Bursby of Elk Grove, CA, & Tiffani (Brian) Lynch of Las Vegas, NV; His sister Karen (Gil) Pinto of Loomis, CA & His brother Dennis (Terri) Kesselring of W. Sacramento, CA; two step-sons, Troy (Kim) Bizzack of Alamogordo, NM, & Matt (Kim) Bizzack of Ahwatukee, AZ; Twelve Grandchildren and one Great-Grandchild-to-be. He will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at the New Life Assembly Church, 424 Letton St. Ramona, CA 92065 (behind Denny's, off Raymond) on Saturday October 16th 2010 at 10:30am. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gary"s honor to Judy Kesselring c/o Chase National Bank or to Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ.
