Barbara Jean Bolen-Novak of Mesa, AZ passed away on January 9, 2011 at the age of 82. Barbara was born on September 9, 1928 to James and Claudia Bolen of Gilbert, AZ. She graduated from Chandler High School in 1946. She then married, moved to California, Washington, then back to her home state of AZ in 1971. Barbara retired from Western Union. Barbara is preceded in death by her two sons, Danny and Randy Becklund. She is survived by her son Rick Becklund of CA; daughter, Cindy Cornwell of Mesa; two sisters, and 3 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Childrens Cancer Society, www.children-cancer.org . A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, January 14, 2011 at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper Ave., Gilbert, AZ 85233. Interment will immediately follow at the City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center St., Mesa, AZ 85201.
