William "Will" Jerrod Preston Smith, 19, of Queen Creek, AZ passed away February 28, 2007 in Springerville, AZ. He is survived by his parents Michael Smith and Evelyn Williams; sister Carly Hancock; grandparents Letty Williams, Bob Smith, and Anne Luxford; Great Grandmother Thera Grefe, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. William graduated from Desert Ridge High School in 2006, where he was honors student and president of the Student Body. He was also on the varsity basketball team, the varsity golf team, and the varsity track team. This year was William's freshman year at Arizona State University. We want all to know how proud we are to have shared every and any moment we had with Will. Will had such a passion for life that bacame contagious to all.
