Vilma P. Welton, 75, of Gilbert, passed away September 14, 2011 in Gilbert. She is survived by her children, Rose A. Bento (Joseph) of Lahaina, HI; Robert A. Friend (Harry) of San Antonio, TX; Mary H. Lopes (John) of Pearl City, HI; Catherine A. Brooks (Scott) of Gilbert, AZ; Anthony J. Welton (Bonnie) of Gilbert, AZ; Michael G. Welton (Barbara) of Mesa, AZ; and Patrick E. Welton (Kimberly) of Gilbert, AZ; her sister Evelyn C. Hawkins of Missoula, MT; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Vilma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Welton. A visitation will be held from 6 "" 8 PM, with a rosary at 7 PM, Tuesday, September 20, at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper Ave. Gilbert. Funeral services will be at 10 AM, Wednesday, September 21 at St. Anne"s Catholic Church, 440 E. Elliot Rd. Gilbert, AZ.
