Janice Kay Carter, daughter of the late Charles Canaday and Opal Canaday was born June 1st, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a child her family moved often and she spent most of her childhood in Wichita, Kansas. She was a beautiful woman and loved to help her family when needed. She was a caregiver to her mother and brother Chuck until the end of their lives. The family settled in Mesa, AZ in 1963. Janice and Ray met in 1971, then united in marriage in 1979. Janice enjoyed numerous hobbies and she was a member of New Life for over 10 years. She is loved by numerous grandchildren, Great grandchildren. And many Nieces and Nephews. May Janice be proceeded in death by her Parents, her Daughter Paula and Brothers Chuck, John and William. May her legacy live on through the lives of her children: Tola Smith of Mesa, Darin (Audra) Smith of Mesa, Paula (Dan) Nevers of St Petersburg FL (Deceased), Rick (Jamie) of Mesa. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her siblings: Cheryl Canaday of Mesa, Tom Candaday of Mesa, Clyde Canaday of Mesa, Kenny Canaday of Winslow.
