JOYCE ELAINE BROOKS CLARK OBITUARY On Thursday, November 3rd 2022, Joyce Elaine Brooks Clark passed away at the age of Ninety-one in Gilbert Arizona. Joyce was born on April 13th 1931 in Burbank California to her parents Clement and Marquerite Brooks. After she arrived there were three more children added to the family. Growing up in Southern California was fun for Joyce, she loved the beach, riding her horse and running around a piece of property her parents owned called Butterfly Park. She loved the outdoors and finding new places to explore. Joyce Graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Teaching and a minor in Speech. She taught for Seventeen years in the Elementary Schools throughout her life. B.Y.U. is where she found the love of her life Earl G. Clark, they were married for Sixty-Eight years until Earl passed away last year. They had several adventures together which included living in Japan, California, Oregon, Utah, and Arizona. Joyce was active in her church and served in several positions throughout her lifetime. Joyce and Earl were Service Missionaries for the church and loved every minute helping others. She was very interested in her ancestors and loved doing Genealogy. In her later years she would spend all day and late into the night following leads on the lines of her Genealogy. She loved telling her children and Grandchildren all the stories of our ancestors and tried to involve us in the love she had for them. Joyce loved to toll Paint and made several crafts for her children and her grandchildren. She loved family and made time to be at baptisms, birthday parties, games, concerts, shows, graduations and more. Joyce just loved having her family around her as much as possible. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley her sister and Earl G. Clark husband. Joyce is survived by her children, Connie Smith, Larry Clark, Cherie Bailey and Lisa Clark. Her Brothers Richard Brooks and Keith Brooks. 18 Grandchildren and 46 Great-Grandchildren. FUNERAL INFORMATION The funeral will be held on Wednesday November 16th 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. Address: 1155 E. Ray Road.
