Howard "Kent" Edington 74, passed away on February 11, 2023 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on August 27, 1948 to George Franklin Edington and Betty Harvey Edington in Fort Wayne, IN. He is survived by daughters, Kimberly Edington Hancock, Angela Edington Rutkowski, son in laws Joe Rutkowski, and Shawn Gran his beloved granddaughters, Katelyn and Brianna Hancock and Emily and Abigail Rutkowski, and his former wife and friend, Mary Christie, his brothers, Larry Dunning (Carolyn), Dave Edington (Sandy), and John Edington (Robin). Kent Served his country in the army in Vietnam. Kent will be most remembered by his colorful stories of his many adventures that made everyone laugh. "We had a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend. One who never really grew old; His smile was like sunshine, And his heart was gold; His eyes were shining stars, His stories were told to everyone's delight We had a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend And that's the way it will always be."
