Marion WatsonCRESWELL — A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. June 1 at Cottage Grove Bible Church for Marion Watson of Creswell, who died May 18 of age-related causes. She was 89.She was born April 21, 1921, in Sheyenne, N.D., to George and Estella Markin Colson. She married Ezra Watson on Dec. 7, 1940, in Boscobel, Wis. He died Dec. 20, 1999.She worked at a cannery in Burson, Calif., welded chicked coops for a chicken farm in Clements, Calif. and worked for Valley Tow Rite in Lodi, Calif.Survivors include a son, Bryce of Creswell; two daughters, Linda Lewis of Creswell and Pamela Doble of Lockford, Calif.; a sister, Ruth Heize of Boscobel; a brother, Ronald Colson of Stuben, Wis.; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; A daughter, Margaret Watson, died in 1943, a son, Don, died in 1995; a grandson, Don Watson Jr., died in 1979 and a granddaughter, Kris Weber, died in 1990.Arrangements by England’s Creswell Memorial Chapel. Remembrances to the Salvation Army.
