Orvile L. Lyons Sr. of Pleasant Hill died April 7 of age-related causes. He was 85. No service is planned.He was born Jan. 27, 1925, in Ponca, Okla., of Charles and Lavona Coleman Lyons.He served in the Army and drove tanks during World War II. He worked as a log truck driver for many years and retired in 1975.Survivors include a son, Orvile Jr. of Springfield; six sisters; one brother; two granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
