Cynthia Hamilton Cynthia was born on December 20, 1947 in Peru, Indiana to George R. McCay and D. Catherine McCay. She passed away on September 12, 2018. Cynthia was a retired insurance agent. She graduated from Thurston Senior High School in Springfield, Oregon, and the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. Cynthia is survived by her husband Timothy Hamilton of Springfield, Oregon, her sister Debi VanOsdel of Kent, Washington, and her brother Russell VanOsdel of Battle Ground, Washington. Loving Mother of Tina Whitaker Gore of Nashville, Tennessee, Christopher Whitaker of Springfield, Oregon, Anthony Whitaker of Springfield, Oregon, and Star Dawn Catherine Whitaker of Santa Ana, California. Beloved Grandmother of Emily & Caitlin Gore of Nashville, Tennessee, Tammy and Ainsley Whitaker of Joshua Tree, California, Christopher Whitaker of Springfield, Oregon, Phoenix Miller of Veneta, Oregon, and Jordan and Malachi Ausmus of Eugene, Oregon. Viewing to be held at Musgrove Family Mortuary located at 225 S. Danebo Avenue in Eugene, Oregon 97402 on Wednesday, September 26th at 3:00pm. The Celebration of Life service will held at Lane Memorial Funeral Home located at 5300 W 11th in Eugene, Oregon 97402 on Friday, September 28th at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, Cynthia and her family request for you to make a donation in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at shop.stjude.org.
