The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Pearline McDonald of Eugene, who died Feb. 15 of age-related causes. He was 89. Visitation will be at noon Friday at the funeral home.She was born June 20, 1920, in Lucedale, Miss., to Johnny and Julie Miller Alford. She married Earl Willis McDonald on Feb. 8, 1947, in Mobile, Ala. He died July 28, 1983.She was a homemaker.Survivors include four daughters, Elizabeth Busby of Clackamas, Glenda Carpenter of Oakridge, Jackie Fipps of Eugene and Brenda Kay McDonald Willie of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Ellen Cooley of Vinegar Bend, Ala., and Myrtle Hopkins and Mavis Crocker, both of Saraland, Ala.; and 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A son, Eugene, and two grandchildren died previously.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
