Peggy Moore
January 12th, 1946 - April 3rd, 2016
Peggy Sue Moore (Smith), beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister, past away on the 3rd of April, 2016 at the age of 70. Born in Missouri on January 12th, 1946, she and her family moved to Arizona in 1959, where she graduated from South Mountain High School. Peggy is survived by her husband Perry (Pete), daughter Kimberly, son Todd, brother Harold Smith, brother Roy Smith, sister in law Karen Norberg, brother in law Rick Moore , brother in law Dave Moore, grandson Davis Hayes, granddaughter Natalie Hayes and granddaughter Emma Morrison. Peggy met Perry in May of 1963, and were married in June of 1966. Together they enjoyed entertaining, traveling and camping. Professionally, Peggy was a manicurist. Once retired she frequented bingo parlors around town where she made many friends. She loved games, spending many evenings playing cards with friends and family. Peggy was a fantastic cook. Everything she made was amazing, and she always made sure no one went hungry. Family gatherings always centered around her home cooked meals, and there were very rarely left overs! Her grandchildren were the light of her life. With them from birth, they spent as much time together as possible taking trips and having sleep-overs frequently. She attended all their performances and events and was so very proud of them. The family will have a Celebration of Life in mid May.
