Richard James Neil, 59, son of Richard and Dorothy Neil, was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 3, 1956 and passed away In Glendale, Arizona on January 26, 2016 after a brief illness. Richard moved with his family to Arizona in 1963 where he has resided since. He was a graduate of Carl Hayden High School, Class of 1975. Rick (Ricky) was known by friends and family for his gentle spirit, kind heart, and love of animals. He enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, listening to a wide variety of music, playing board games, and spending time with his closest friends. He is preceded in death by his father and a nephew. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Wes) Paap, and his three sisters, Lynda (Kevin) Anderson, Nancy (Chet) Chapman, and Susan (Gene) Wright, as well as many nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A memorial service will be held in honor of Richard on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview United Methodist Church, 10298 W. Thunderbird Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351.
