Marion A Tometich
July 16th, 1932 - November 6th, 2023
Marion A. Tometich, 91 of Peoria, AZ peacefully passed away on November 6, 2023. Marion was born in Chicago, IL to Harry and Inez Olander. She graduated from the Grant Hospital of Chicago, School of Nursing in 1953 and worked for the family doctor in Fox Lake, IL. She was involved with the Women of the Moose, Swedish Clubs in Illinois and Arizona, member of St. Barnabas Lutheran Church in Cary, IL before moving to Arizona in 1995. Marion was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Glendale, AZ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She said she had a blessed life. Marion is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Jr., son, Stephen III (JT) and grandson, Stephen IV. Marion is survived by her daughters Debra (Roger) Ping, Teri (Jim) Vandenboom, daughter-in-law Laura (Stephen III (JT) Tometich and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers a donation to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 7201 N. 51th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85301-2004
