Michael Dennis Evans

Obituary Michael Dennis Evans Sr., 56, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday - October 6th, 2018. He was born on August 8,1962, in Phoenix, the son of Clyde and Denna Evans. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Linda, 2 children Mike Evans Jr and Jamie Evans, both of Tucson, AZ., 2 step children, Corey Baxter of Bedford, Pa. and Ashley Beard of Manns Choice, Pa., 9 grandsons: Michael, Ben, Tyler, Jacob, Andrew, Chase, Colin, Nicholas, & Hunter, and his sister and brother Diane Delaura and Doug Evans. As a young child growing up in Phoenix, Mike performed traditional stage magic professionally with credits that included state and county fairs, amusement parks, and even a television appearance on the Wallace and Ladmo show. As an adult, Mike was able to transfer his love of illusions into a ministry that he was able to share with the children of Mexico and the Philippines. Mike's true passion was his relationship with the Lord. Mike studied at the Arizona School of Ministry, the Global University, and the School of Biblical Evangelism. He became an ordained minister in 2010. Mike and his wife Linda continued to share the gospel throughout the state of Arizona with his ministry called Good News Illusions until his passing on Saturday. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Foothills Community Church, 3301 W Overton Rd, Tucson AZ 85741 on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:30am. In all things praise the Lord!
