It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Craig Anthony Candito, 52, of Tucson, AZ, who left us on January 7th, 2022. Craig was born on April 9, 1969 in Middletown, NY to parents Nicholas and Barbara Candito. Craig began high school at Minisink Valley in Slate Hill, NY before relocating with his family to Tucson, AZ where he graduated from Sabino High School in 1987. After high school, Craig joined AOL and became a call center Manager, a career profession he remained in throughout his life. Craig had an avid love for hunting, skiing, martial arts, automobiles, cooking - and most of all – participating in and watching his two children take part in arts and sports programs. Craig was the friend every person would want, as he was always there to lend a helping hand whenever needed, and he truly enjoyed being with the people who meant the most to him. His passing leaves many lifelong friends and loved ones feeling a tremendous loss, and searching for answers. We take relief in knowing that Craig has found peace in the heavenly arms of the Lord. Rest in peace knowing you made a profound impact on so many lives during your time on earth. You will be forever missed. Craig was predeceased by his Grandparents on both sides, his mother-in-law, several aunts, uncles and close family friends. He is survived by his former spouse Kristen (née Palmer), his two children Tyler and Alexandra, his parents Nick and Barb, his brothers John and Adam, his sister Cristina, his sisters-in-law Dede (John) and Jelena (Adam), his brother in-law Matt (Cristina), nieces Angela, Jacquelyn and Vanessa (John and Dede), nephews Luca (Adam and Jelena) and Mason (Cristina and Matt), and several aunts and uncles. The Memorial Mass for Craig Candito will be held on Thursday, January 27th at Saint Rita in the Desert Catholic Church in Vail, AZ at 3pm. The church address is 13260 E. Colossal Cave Rd., Vail, AZ 85641. Live stream of the services: https://arizona.zoom.us/j/87587328124 . With the ongoing COVID 19 surge in our community we are strongly encouraging everyone to bring a mask and wear it at all times. Social distancing protocols will be in place. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please make donations to the GoFundMe link below to help with Tyler and Alexandra’s college education fund. https://www.gofundme.com/f/memorial-for-craig-candito
