Jayme LeAnne Miller

Jayme LeAnne Miller was born Jan 17,1991 in Columbus,Indiana. Jayme had suffered from addiction problems but had recently become sober and was very active in the sober living fellowship and 12 step community. This also helped her to be close with God and she was very spiritual. She watched as many of her friends died from the disease, and she volunteered her extra time to do outreach for HandI (hospitals and institutions) with Heroin Anonymous.. She said that she was able to get sober because of someone else had done this for her, and she hoped that she could save someone else. This became her mission in life, and she planned to return to college soon to become a social worker. She also shared her father and grandfather's passion for the Chicago Cubs. Jan 5,2018 was her 9 month sobriety date. Although cause of death is being investigated, it appears to be related to Xanax and possibly an opiate. Her boyfriend Alex found her non responsive without signs life on hte morning of Jan. 6,2018. Jayme and Alex had been talking about getting married and he was the love of her life. She also leaves behind her mother, Gina Steiner Winkel , and father, Rob Miller. Her older siblings Tasha Tyler, Curtis Tyler, Holly Miller and Robert Miller from Texas, and a little brother Ryan Winkel. Step Father Steve Winkel, and Step father Steve Winkel, and step siblings Brandy Williughby, Samantha, Sean, Aaron, and Josh Winkel and grandparents Bob and Beth Steiner. Several nephews, cousins, aunts, and an uncle. Jayme was amazing, fun, sarcastic, and 100 genuine. She loved so many and so many loved her. She touched many lives and everyone is absolutely devastated that she is gone. "You're wings were ready, but our hearts were not"
