Adair Funeral Home - Avalon
William Herberet Brown
September 18th, 1929 - September 23rd, 2020
Brown, William “Bill” Age 91, went home to the lord on September 23rd, 2020. He was born in Kinston, North Carolina on September 18th, 1929. He is survived by his wide of 44 years Patricia Brown; stepsons Luke, Mark and Matthew Dibble, loving grandchildren Megan Cook, Jake Dibble, Delaney Dibble, and Jeremiah Dibble and his great grandchildren Kaleigha, Liam, Zyler, Ryan and Shane. He worked for general motors, as a lumberjack, doing construction and the State of Arizona eventually retiring from Flowing Wells School District. He belonged to Holy Family Catholic Church. He enjoyed camping, hiking and traveling with his grandchildren and always loved vanilla ice cream and peach cobbler. Anywhere that Bill went, he made an impression on those around him. He is best remembered as a kind and humble man, who never thought twice about helping anyone in need and never shied away from work of any kind. He was a man of few words, but when he did speak, it was always with a purpose and always with kindness. All who were touched by him agree that there are few people with a heart as large as Bill’s, and even fewer people who are as good as Bill was. Everything Bill did, he did so with grace in his heart and a smile on his face. His unwavering faith and the love that he shared and spread throughout his many years will not soon be forgotten. We would like to thank his brother in law John Drobnica for all the hours he spent helping Bill through his illness and Father Abraham Dono for being a faithful friend. A private viewing will be held at Adair Avalon Chapel with burial at Evergreen Cemetery to follow on Tuesday September 29th, 2020.
