Barbara Lee Dillon
April 29th, 1937 - January 21st, 2021
BARBARA LEE MARTIN, born April 29, 1937 in Lexington, Kentucky and living throughout the South during her childhood, until settling permanently in Tucson, Arizona for the past 56 years, went to be with Jesus on January 21, 2021. Barbara was a member of Casas Adobes Church for over 33 years, where she faithfully taught children’s Sunday School, until becoming a member at CDO Baptist church and teaching in the AWANA program until she entered glory. Barbara loved more than anything to assist families in the care of their children and was generous in her giving to organizations such as World Vision to help more children around the world. She continually looked for opportunities to help others and show the love of Christ. She was always more excited to learn about what others found interesting than indulging her own wants and needs. Barbara was a devoted mother, wife and proud grandmother who loved the Word of God and pointing others to Christ. Barbara is survived by her brother, Barry Martin of Dallas, Texas, her daughter, Kellee Harris of Asheville, North Carolina, her son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Christy Rollins, and her two granddaughters, Camille and Ashleigh Rollins from Tucson. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM at Canyon Del Oro Baptist on January 30, 2021. Memorials may be made to the Saddlebrooke Pet Rescue or to CDO Baptist for the AWANA program.
