January 31st, 1947 - January 22nd, 2021
Gregory Hugh Mercer, 74, beloved brother of George and Mary Ann passed away January 22, at Oro Valley Hospital, Catalina, Arizona. He was born January 31, 1947 the son of George and Mary Genevieve Mercer and is survived by three nephews, Eric, Kevin and Robert-(deceased) and three great nephews, Joshua, Justin and Jordan, also his great great nephew Andrew and great great niece Abbigail. In his childhood Gregory attended St. Peter and Paul Catholic Elementary School in Tucson. Gregory was an honorable US Army veteran and a graduate of Colorado State College in Greeley, CO teaching history in the Denver, CO area for years. He was a student of Ambassador College, Pasadena, CA where he shared archeological and biblical research. Gregory enjoyed his national and state forest camping trips in the winter months including New Mexico and Arizona where he loved his bike rides daily.
