Steve James Mullner
April 4th, 1931 - March 19th, 2021
Steve J. Mullner, Jr, 89 of Tucson, Arizona, passed away late Friday evening, March 19th, 2021, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Byesville, Ohio, on April 4th, 1931 and was raised in Lorain, Ohio. After graduating from Lorain High School, he attended Ohio State University. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ and served in the Korean War. He was married to Nina R. (nee D’Anna) Mullner in Tucson, AZ on September 24, 1955. Steve worked for 32 years for Ford Motor Company at the Lorain Assembly Plant in various positions within the Data Processing Department. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed automotive interests and car racing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina R. Mullner and his parents, Steve J. and Marie C. (nee Gensure) Mullner and grandson Jason L. Mullner. Steve is survived by his sister Janet C. (nee Mullner) Ritter, Sheffield Lake, OH; sons, James A. Mullner (Claudia) , Aiken, SC; Jerome A. Mullner (Helen) , St. Peters, MO; John S. Mullner (Mary), Cleveland, OH and Joseph S. Mullner (Molly), Amherst, OH and daughter Angela Wiseman (Ross), Tucson, AZ; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews . Visitation is at Adair Funeral Home - Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave., Oro Valley, AZ 85704 on Weds. March 24, 2021. Funeral mass will be held at St. Odilia Catholic Community, 7570 N. Paseo del Norte, Oro Valley, AZ 85704. Burial will be at Holy Hope Cemetery on March 24, 2021.
