April 27th, 1935 - July 4th, 2021
On July 4th 2021, our beloved Carmen Lopez was suddenly taken up to heaven to join some of her family that includes her parents Baltazar and Leonor, younger brother Edward, nephew Harold and grand niece Ashley. Carmen was born on April 27, 1935 in Jerome, AZ and was one of 8 children. Carmen loved her family and would do anything for them. Even though she never married or had children of her own, she had 3 generations of nieces and nephews to love and care for as if they were her own children. She lived in Tucson for over 45 years with her sisters in the same house that their parents owned. When Carmen wasn’t reading or babysitting, she was tending to her garden because she loved having fresh cut flowers. Carmen is survived by her bothers: Baltazar, Ernest, Rudy, Joe and her sisters: Eloise and Mary. As well as, her many nieces and nephews. Even though Carmen is now in heaven with our Lord, she will be missed and forever in our hearts. We love you Carmen!
