DONNA ELAINE (KLEBS) LONG Donna Elaine Long, the lady with the biggest heart, passed away on December 24, 2018 at the age of 85. Donna lived in the Phoenix area for over 40 years. Formerly of Antioch, IL and Baraga, MI., she was a Native American Indian (Chippewa) of the Keweenaw Tribe in MI. Beloved wife of the late Richard Lee Long Sr. They were married for 56 years. She was a caring and loving mother of 5 sons, 4 who preceded her in death - the late Ronald James (Debbie) Long, the late David Alan Long, the late Sean Patrick Long, and the late Richard Lee Long Jr. Her surviving son, Donald M (Madelyn) Long. She was also the cherished Grandmother of 10 - 1 who preceded her in death - Wendy Long. Her surviving grand-children - Amy, James, Zachary, Sarah, Amanda, Maureen, David, Donna, and Jessica. Also a Great-Grandmother of 6 - Demetri, Kennedy, Geneva, Sparrow, Kayla, and Emilee. She was a very active member of the Central Presbyterian Church of Phoenix. Donna had a very strong belief and faith in our Heavenly Father. That was very evident is how she lived her life. Donna worked as a Supervisor at Phoenix Indian Medical Center for 25 years where she brought joy to all she encountered. PIMC actually was her second home. Donna shared with us that her most important accomplishment was her family. Donna's life always revolved around her family and her faith in God. She also served in the U.S. Army and that is where she met the love of her life. Donna passed very peacefully with her family and friends by her side. A Memorial Service will take place at Samaritan Funeral Home on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 11-1pm.
