Leona Edwards was born in Doddsville, Mississippi on October 9, 1949 to Willie Lee Ervin and Dora Lee Ervin. Both preceded in death in Doddsville, Mississippi. Leona is the third oldest of seven children. On March 5, 2019 Heaven gained an angel. Leona took her Journey to celebrate a new life with her brothers Willie Thomas, Frank Ervin and John Tom Ervin, and her sister Elizabeth Ervin Hendrix and her beloved daughter Linda Faye Edwards. Leona leaves behind her husband WT Edwards of 50 years. Her daughters Jacqueline Edwards, Today Edwards and her brother Ollie (Patty) Ervin and her sister Hattie Fletcher, Willie James Ervin and sister in law Jean Ervin. Leona leaves behind Layeshia Edwards, Lantra Simone Edwards, Dante (Marlen) Edwards, Nesha Valentine and her great grandkids Sunni Edwards, Elijah Edwards and one adopted son Curtis Richardson, Niki Valentine and family. She also leaves behind a host of great friends and family. The Edwards and Ervin Family would like to thank each and everyone that has helped and sent prayers and condolences continuously to the family. May God bless each and everyone and their families.
