Aubrie Yvonne Kauppi

Aubrie Yvonne Kauppi was born on August 16, 2019 as the first child to Monique Kauppi (Rossignol) and Christopher Kauppi of Phoenix, AZ. She was born at 7:11pm weighing 6lbs 7oz and measuring 19 ½ inches long. Aubrie passed away at Phoenix Children's Hospital on November 26, 2019 around 11pm in her room where she had made many beautiful memories. She peacefully passed in her father's arms after spending the afternoon outside in the fresh air surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her mother Monique and her father Chris; paternal grandparents Lynn and Karen Kauppi (Wilson); maternal grandmothers Helena Rossignol and June Eiselstein; aunts and uncles including Michelle Rossignol, Daniel Rossignol, Heika Rossignol, and Steven and Darcy Rossignol (Rappleyea), and cousins Audra and Morgan Rossignol. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Evan Rossignol, her great grandparents and several distant relatives. Though her life was cut short, Aubrie didn't let any of the challenges she faced stop nor define her. She represented herself with strength, courage, dignity, love and lots of spunk. Aubrie captured the hearts of all who met her and will live on in our hearts forever. A memorial service to celebrate Aubrie will be held on Saturday, December 7th, 2019. The service starts at 10am at University Lutheran Church located at 340 E. 15th St. Tempe, Arizona. Following the service will be Celebration of Life reception at the community center across from the Sanctuary.
