Joseph Ruelas Sotelo
June 27th, 1962 - February 1st, 2021
Joseph Ruelas Sotelo was born on June 27, 1962 in Glendale, Arizona to Joe and Lucy Sotelo. He enjoyed his years growing up in Glendale with his brothers, Michael, David and Richard. He was always a positive and dedicated worker, working diligently in the HVAC Industry since 1980. He excelled working at Ferguson Enterprises HVAC Division for over two decades where he was a positive force and an instant friend to all, there was not a coworker or customer who he could not talk to. He loved people and cherished all relationships in his life. He flourished in his greatest positions of all, a loving husband, father and grandfather. He met the love of his life Yolanda in the Summer of 1980 in Phoenix, AZ. They later married July of 1984, and soon followed the birth of their daughters Linda, Jacqueline and a later surprise, Andrew. Family was always Joseph's priority; he loved taking his family vacationing to Greer, AZ every Summer. His pride and joy were his grandchildren Aiden, Abigail and Madison. He loved introducing his family to music, art, food, wine and culture and he enjoyed hiking, exploring and trying new things. He was a watch enthusiast, loved guitars and never passed up the opportunity to take his children to various types of concerts and cultural events. His relationship with his family was a special and cherished one. Our strong faith assures us we will see him again in the resurrection soon. "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is a going to be a resurrection…"- Acts 24:15. Joseph fell asleep in death on February 1, 2021 at the young age of 58. He is survived by his wife Yolanda; Daughters Linda and Husband Christopher, Jacqueline; Son Andrew; Grandchildren Aiden, Abigail, and Madison; As well as his parents, brothers, nieces and nephews.
