Bruce Allen Atwood, 70, of Phoenix, passed away on January 11, 2021 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on September 15, 1950 to Philip and Mary Jane Atwood in Holmes, PA. He attended school at Ridley High School and graduated in 1968. He then went to Kutztown State College and graduated in 1972. Went to Newport Rhode Island for his commission as Ensign. Spent 4 years at Subic Bay Philippians left the Navy as Lieutenant JG in 1976. Bruce worked in Management for US West Communications. Bruce is survived by his wife Margaret O Atwood, AZ; his daughter, Saegan Hall,AZ; his son, Justin Atwood,AZ; his sisters Susan Orsatti,PA Barbara Cadwallder, NJ and Linda Hannold,PA; brothers, Steven Atwood, AZ, Curt Atwood, PA and his father Philip Atwood Jr., PA . He was preceded in death by mother, Mary Jane Atwood and son Sean Atwood. Cremation will be completed at LifePlan Crematory and Burial of Ashes will take place in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona .
