January 16th, 1949 - December 30th, 2021
Richard Alan "Bud" Wagner was born in Phoenix, AZ on January 16, 1949, and peacefully entered heaven from his home in Phoenix, AZ on December 30, 2021. He attended West High School and served in the US Army 1968-1972. Vietnam Veteran with the 1st Cavalry Division. Richard was preceded in death by his Mother Jacolee (1927-1965); Father Frank (1926-2017); stepmother Billie Jean (1925-2017) and his loving "fur baby companion" Sassy (2021). He is survived by Three children, Rick Wagner (Dawn, Teresa Wagner (Al), Michael Wagner (Molly). His sister Valada Bolster (husband Paul). Six grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Nephew Jeff Bolster (wife Danielle and children Ana 16 and Luke10); niece Bethany Bolster Reed (husband Brad (and children Jackson 19, Macy 16, & Adalyn7). Cousins, Jennifer Wagner-Barnett, Jim Wagner, Mike Wagner. Richard "Bud" is deeply missed by his family. We are confidently celebrating his eternal resting at peace in heaven with his Heavenly Father, fully free of emotional and physical suffering. He truly was a man of velvet and a man of steel, deeply loved and missed by his family. A family graveside service will be held the VA Cemetery, Phoenix.
