Melissa Contreras 44, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on January 14th, 2023. The Laborin and Contreras family is saddened to announce the death of a beloved mother, sister, Tia and friend Melissa "sister". Melissa passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends in the early afternoon on January 14th 2023. Melissa was born to Rosario laborin and Rudy Contreras on February 3rd, 1978. She is survived by her daughter Lucy Herrera, brother Rudy Contreras, Brandon and Eric laborin Hinojosa and mother Rosario Laborin. Her nephew's and nieces Adrian, Elias, Julien, Xavier, Jade and Eliana will deeply miss her love and joy she brought. Melissa touched so many lives during her time here om earth going on walks for "MCSO" with her court family, anything to help them she was there. She loved planning the parties for her nieces and nephew's. She loved Lucy and the baby's so much and it showed. The final viewing for Melissa will be Friday at Samaritan funeral home 1505 E, McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85006 from 3pm to 6pm.
