Kathy Doten, 72, a long-time resident of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on July 27, 2023. Kathy was born in Phoenix, Arizona on November 10, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Wayne and Loretta Kirkpatrick of Tucson. She attended high school at Sunnyside High School in Tucson and married the late Charles Benjamin Doten on Jan 26, 1971. They lived in Tucson, Arizona, Bayard, NM, and Troy, Mt. Eventually they returned to Tucson to be with family. She loved her pets, spending time with her family, and lunch and activities with her friends. In her free time she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and old movies. She also loved plants and gardening and the prairie dogs at the Desert Museum. She is survived by her three children, Christopher Doten of Rincon, GA, Jennifer Duran of Tucson, Az, and Steven Doten of Tucson, Arizona and five granddaughters Taylor and Piper Doten, Kendel Duran-Riley, and Kaitlyn, and Karlie Duran. She also has a brother Richard Kirkpatrick of Tucson, Arizona and three sisters Sandi McCallum of Kalispell, MT, Diane Stocum of Tucson, Arizona, and Nancy Jaramillo of Las Cruces, NM. She will be missed by all. Her funeral will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at the Adair Funeral Home - Avalon Chapel, 8090 N Northern Avenue, Oro Valley, Arizona 85704. A visitation will be held from 9:00AM-10:00AM with a Funeral Service following at 10:00AM. After the service Kathy will be laid to rest at the Binghampton Cemetery, 4001 N. Alvernon Way, Tucson Arizona
