William Vernon Buhs
March 21st, 1963 - September 27th, 2023
William Vernon Buhs entered into eternal rest on September 27, 2023, in his home in Oro Valley, Arizona. He was born on March 21, 1963 in Glendale California. Bill has called Tucson home for over 20 years, during which time he enjoyed a successful career in sales for a large construction supply company. He was a dedicated Youth Minister for many years, inspiring youth on their spiritual journey. During this time he met the love of his life, his wife Michelle, and became a loving step-father to her two children. Bill fulfilled his vocation of becoming an ordained Deacon in the Catholic church in 2021. He will be remembered for his humble service to his church community. Along with his wife, Michelle, Bill is survived by his daughter McKenzie (Joseph) Mona, son Jared (Grace) Grenfell, grandson Kaden Mona, sister Trish (Keith) Duchene, sister Barbara Buhs, brother John Buhs. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen Buhs, and sisters Tari Buhs and Mary Jeanne Buhs. The family will receive guests for a rosary and vigil service on Friday, October 6th at 6:00pm at St. Odilia Catholic Church, 7570 N Paseo Del Norte, Tucson, AZ . The funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 7th at 9:30am at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2727 W. Tangerine Rd. Oro Valley, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation made to one of the following: St. Odilia Building Fund in memory of Dcn. Bill Buhs:St. Odilia Parish, Attn: Fr. Miguel Mariano, 7570 N Paseo Del Norte, Tucson, AZ 85704, or the American Cancer Society.
