William "Bill" E. Davis, Glass Sales/Management, 77, died October 18, 2013, after a brief but brave battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. Born October 15, 1936, in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The only child of James and Cara Davis (deceased). He attended West Virginia University and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Bill moved to Arizona in 1961 and retired in 2002 after more than 45 years in the glass business. Bill served for more than three decades as a member of the University of Arizona basketball stat crew and spotter/assistant announcer for the University of Arizona football. He was an avid golfer and received many awards and trophies, including four "holes in one" over a lifetime. He was a member of St. Phillips in the Hills Episcopal Church since 1982. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara; and his two sons, Steven (Kimberly) Davis of Tulsa, OK, and Mark (Christina) Davis of Tucson, AZ; sister-in-law, Rosalind "Roro" of Tempe, AZ; five wonderful granddaughters, Amanda, Christine, Brooke, Danielle and Bailey; and precious pups, Stewie and Ponch. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held Friday, November 1, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Palm Room at the Westward Look Resort on Ina Road. Donations towards an Arizona Athletics Legacy Lane tile can be made by sending a check to The Wildcat Club, McKale Memorial Center, P.O.
