Adair Funeral Home - Dodge
Robert "Bob" L. Felix
November 25th, 2013
Dr. Robert L. "Bob" Felix, 91, passed away peacefully in his home on November 25, 2013. Fourth generation Tucsonan, Bob's commitment to Tucson was as deep as his roots: one of the original Conquistadors, president of the Town Cats, longtime board member of the Tucson Country Club serving as President in the early '60s. Bob attended Tucson High, The University of Arizona, and USC Dental School completing his last two years in the U.S. Navy. He returned to Tucson after serving in the South Pacific and practiced orthodontics for 51 years, leaving a legacy of smiles throughout Southern Arizona. A Wildcat for Life, Bob was the longest consecutive season ticket holder for Arizona football, along with season tickets for men's basketball, volleyball and softball. Bob joins his wife, Dottie Felix, of over 50 years and is survived by children: William (Peggy) Valentine, Cindy Shadegg, James Felix, Robert Jr. (Margaret) Felix, Debby (Joe) Morales, and Greg (Debbie) Felix; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A celebration of life is planned in the New Year…We'll miss you, Boppa!
